About Us
EmpowerQ is Nigeria’s first career empowerment nonprofit for queer professionals.
We help LGBTQ+ professionals and marginalised young people access career resources, research, skills training, mentorship, community and safer pathways to work.
In our first year, we published Nigeria’s first LGBTQ+ Workforce Report, built Career Bestie, hosted Out of Office and launched programmes like our AI training bootcamp and Lavender Ladder to help queer Nigerians build skills, community and income pathways.
